Oh, and you could win a gaming PC worth over £800!

The Cambridge Children’s Hospital team and Cambs Youth Panel have come together to offer secondary school students the chance to win this state-of-the-art prize.
Open to years 7-11, the challenge is to design a logo for the new Cambridge Children’s Network – a group of young people, families and carers who will help develop the new hospital, from how it looks to the care it provides.
Cambridge Children’s Hospital, due to open in 2025, will be the first ever dedicated children’s hospital for the East of England. This pioneering hospital will be unique in its approach, bringing together mental and physical health, with world-class research, under one roof.
Since lockdown last March, Cambs Youth Panel has restored hundreds of laptops to donate to children needing tech for remote learning. Cambs Youth Panel is a young person’s group that has been running since 2016. It does incredible work, giving young people a voice to make change.
They have thrown their support behind the children’s hospital, taking time out of their busy schedule to build this amazing PC to inspire young people to get involved.
To enter the competition, students must be in years 7-11 from a Cambridgeshire or regional school. We are looking for a logo that is bright, bold and exciting! It will be used on all Cambridge Children’s Network’s communications for the foreseeable future.
Molly from Cambs Youth Panel has put together a video with all the information and links you need to enter the competition. That can be found on Cambs Youth Panel’s You Tube channel here (opens in a new tab). Or you can click on this link (opens in a new tab) to go straight to entry form.
Closing date 9am Friday, 2 April.
